Sales Sparks

SPARKs is a virtual sales training programme designed to energise sales individuals at any level and develop or strengthen core skills.

  • Each session runs once a month for 1.5 hours (facilitated via Zoom) 
  • Every training session will cover theory followed by practical exercises
  • We use mixed media to make the sessions interactive and highly engaging
  • Post each session attendees will get tools to embed the training and promote continuous learning 

Taking insights from our Smarter Consultative Sales Training we have developed a programme covering 12 core sales skills topics.

Starting in January 2024 we will cover these 12 core sales skills:

  1. LIGHTBULB MOMENTS - Learn how to solve problems and generate new ideas and opportunities for your account on a daily basis (Jan 16th)
  2. OPTIMISE OBJECTIVES - Develop skills to set stronger objectives to plan and get the most out of every buyer or customer interaction (Feb 13th)
  3. ACTIVE LISTENING - Learn how to develop not just manage your account via identifying your buyer's real needs (Mar 12th)
  4. VISIONARY THINKING - Learn how to create an account vision that is personally motivating and drives a/c growth (Apr 16th)
  5. IMPROVE BUYER RELATIONS - Develop skills to move from transactional trading status to more collaborative buyer relationships (May 14th)
  6. MANAGE STAKEHOLDERS - Learn to step into the shoes of key stakeholders to ensure your proposal is relevant & compelling (June 11th)
  7. STRENGTHEN PROPOSALS - Learn how to evaluate your proposal and take steps to strengthen it before presenting to buyers (July 16th)
  8. BE MORE CONSULTATIVE - Develop skills to develop your account knowledge and become more consultative (Aug 20th)
  9. BE MORE IMPACTFUL - Learn how to create high impact presentations that buyers will want to listen to and engage with (Sep 17th)
  10. PROBLEM SOLVING - Develop lateral thinking techniques to learn ways to solve problems and overcome barriers & objections (Oct 15th)
  11. NEURO-DIVERSITY - Learn how working with others with different styles will strengthen proposals and grow your accounts (Nov 12th)
  12. UNDERSTAND DECISION-MAKING - Learn how emotional v rational thinking affects decisions that we all take (Dec 10th)
Short bursts of regular sales training encourage your account team to collaborate and coach each other, promoting continuous learning and increasing productivity!

    One question we have frequently been asked is do you have to start in January to run through the programme?

    No, you don't have to start in January - you or your account managers can start in any month, each session is discrete so you can start the programme at any time and then complete the full programme into the following year.
